AAT Accounting

Study accounting at our campuses in Bexleyheath; and gain recognised professional qualifications with the AAT Diploma.

No matter where you are starting from, when you take an accounting software, bookkeeping and business skills course with us you will leave with the qualifications and real-world experience you need to get ahead in your career. We cater for all levels of experience with courses for beginners as well as working professionals who want to boost their skills. You can progress from Level 1 and level 2 foundation certificates.

This qualification may also interest those who are self-employed or working in small businesses with a requirement to do their own bookkeeping. Students will learn underpinning theory including how to identify assets, liabilities, income and expenses; how to identify profit and loss; and the differences between trading for cash and trading on credit.

​Ascentis Award in Understanding Employment, Business and Enterprise Level 1

This qualification introduces the learner to the importance of entrepreneurial skills within business and encourages them to consider their own role in employment, business and enterprise. The qualification can be used in an induction programme or integrated with a longer programme of study within a vocational area. There are several features of this qualification that make it very appropriate for its target learners:

​City & Guilds Award in Computerised Accounts

The Level 1 Award in Computerised Accounts is designed for learners seeking a first qualification in the practical use of computerised accounts with a view to entry into employment or to gain skills using this application in their current role. It would be useful for learners to have an understanding of the terms used in basic book-keeping.

​The Level 2 Award in Computerised Accounts is aimed at learners seeking  broad experience in using computerised accounts software and to enhance their competence, allowing them to use the application independently for routine activities. It is also aimed at those who want to enter employment in a computerised accounts environment.
