Family & Supported Learning

Courses  /

Family Learning

Keep up with your children in maths, English and SPAG (Spelling, Punctuation and Grammar). These FREE courses will show you how children learn at school and how best to support them. The aim is to improve English, maths, language and IT skills of adults with an opportunity to gain a qualification. These courses are funded by the Education & Skills Funding Agency and priority will be given to adults who do not have any formal qualifications.

Supported Learning

We offer a very student-cantered curriculum to help students with learning difficulties, disabilities and autism to develop their skills to become increasingly independent and to flourish in life. There are also opportunities for some students to move into volunteering or supported employment. Our curriculum team works with our Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator (SENCO), teaching assistants, learning support assistants and liaise with our partners to give each of our supported learning students the best possible experience.
