Course description

Improve your mental wellbeing and awareness of the world around you through this Taster. Observe thoughts and feelings within to become healthier, happier and better rested.

There will be interactive teaching and learning activities shared with students by the tutor including demonstrations, use of technology, Word Clouds, quizzes, reflective diaries, observation, discussions, direct questioning, self-assessment, working in pairs or groups, working together to develop and challenge what you have learnt, finding out what you can do well and what you could do to improve.

What you can do next

Students can also look into other meditation and relaxation courses. Or perhaps try other health and wellbeing courses like Yoga, Pilates, Move to the Music and Exercise, Body Blitz and Body Tone, Line Dance and Zumba Fitness. We also offer courses and one to one training on iPads/tablets, iPhones and laptops.

Additional information

At the beginning of the course, you will have an induction to the College and the course. Your tutor may ask you to complete an Individual Learning Plan (ILP) and agree your personal learning goals. This paperwork is a requirement of the College’s Quality Improvement Programme.
