How you will be assessed on this course
1. Read, write and count to 100. 2. Add and subtract with numbers up to 100. 3. Recall times tables. 4. Use a calculator to check work. 5. Read, write and use half and quarter. 6. Make amounts of money up to £1. 7. Work out change. 8. Tell the time on a 12 hour clock. 9. Write the date. 10. Estimate measures. 11. Measure length, weight and capacity. 12. Read temperatures. 13. Recognise and describe 2D and 3D shapes. 14. Use positional vocabulary. 15. Read information from graphs and charts. 16. Collect information and display in graphs and charts.

At the beginning of the course, you will have an induction to the College and the course. Your tutor will ask you to complete an Individual Learning Plan (ILP) and agree your personal learning goals. All documents are a requirement of the Funding Agency, who expect that learners who enrol on a course leading to a qualification will take that qualification at the College. All students on courses funded by the ESFA must complete a Learning Agreement and ILP.
