Course description

Make a festive door wreath and table design including candles where all the materials are provided for you. £40 material costs are included in the fee.

Entry requirements

No previous experience needed.

What you will learn

• Preparing a mossed frame ready for creating a door wreath. • Wiring accessories. • Produce a door wreath to a good standard. • Produce a table design to a good standard.

There will be interactive teaching and learning activities shared with students by the tutor including demonstrations, use of technology, Word Clouds, glossary of terms, quizzes, reflective diaries, observation, discussions, direct questioning, self-assessment, working in pairs or groups, working together to develop and challenge what you have learnt, finding out what you can do well and what you could do to improve.

At the beginning of the course, you will have an induction to the College and the course. Your tutor may ask you to complete an Individual Learning Plan (ILP) and agree your personal learning goals. This paperwork is a requirement of the College’s Quality Improvement Programme.
