Create beautiful autumn seasonal designs on this one day workshop. Design Halloween style flowers in a pumpkin and a wicker door wreath in autumnal shades.

How you will be assessed on this course
There will be interactive teaching and learning activities shared with students by the tutor including demonstrations, use of technology, Word Clouds, glossary of terms, quizzes, reflective diaries, observation, discussions, direct questioning, self-assessment, working in pairs or groups, working together to develop and challenge what you have learnt, finding out what you can do well and what you could do to improve.

Some research on different designs and equipment you are required to bring to class.
What you need for your course
You will need to bring a small pumpkin, cellophane, minimum of 1 floral foam brick for fresh flowers, big enough to fit inside the pumpkin, 1 wicker door wreath, a mixture of seasonal autumn coloured flowers to the value of approx. £20, include single headed flowers and other varieties such as spray carnations, gerbera, roses, chrysanthemum, foliage and large leaves, twigs and Halloween accessories such as spiders and webs, small string lights, pine cones, wheat, etc. you can also use some dried materials.

At the beginning of the course, you will have an induction to the College and the course. Your tutor may ask you to complete an Individual Learning Plan (ILP) and agree your personal learning goals. This paperwork is a requirement of the College’s Quality Improvement Programme.
