Learn the art and techniques of working with chocolate to create your own handmade chocolates for Easter. Develop a variety of skills in moulding, tempering, dipping and decorating your own chocolate creations to make wonderful gifts.
What you will learn
A variety of skills in preparation of making handmade chocolates.

Tutor demonstration & supervised practice, one to one, class discussion.
How you will be assessed on this course
1. Students will be able to temper chocolate successfully. 2. Use moulds. 3. Pipe designs using chocolate. 4. Dip a variety of ingredients.

What you need for your course
Students will need chocolate, some moulds and ingredients. Tutor will advise and costs kept to a minimum.

At the beginning of the course, you will have an induction to the College and the course. Your tutor may ask you to complete an Individual Learning Plan (ILP) and agree your personal learning goals. This paperwork is a requirement of the College’s Quality Improvement Programme.
