What you will learn
A mindfulness & meditation technique are found to reduce stress, improve concentration, encourages a healthy life style, increases self -awareness, happiness and self- acceptance. This course is for candidates who wish to achieve a calm state of mind and explore their inner awareness. Learn how to establish daily meditation practice, learn techniques for centring and calming yourself whilst on the go. Learn coping techniques for anxiety..

How you will be assessed on this course
There will be interactive teaching and learning activities shared with students by the tutor including demonstrations, use of technology, Word Clouds, quizzes, reflective diaries, observation, discussions, direct questioning, self-assessment, working in pairs or groups, working together to develop and challenge what you have learnt, finding out what you can do well and what you could do to improve.

Students can also look into other meditation and relaxation courses. At the beginning of the course, you will have an induction to the College and the course. Your tutor may ask you to complete an Individual Learning Plan (ILP) and agree your personal learning goals. This paperwork is a requirement of the College’s Quality Improvement Programme.
