Ever wanted to learn to tap dance? Fabulous for keeping fit, co-ordination and confidence boosting. Come and make friends and just dance.
An interest in learning to tap dance or continue with tap dancing and a sense of well being.
What you will learn
Basic and developing new steps and dances to music.
How you will learn on this course
Demonstration of steps, trying the steps out and putting it together with music into a sequence to perform.
How you will be assessed on this course
There will be interactive teaching and learning activities shared with students by the tutor including demonstrations, use of technology, Word Clouds, quizzes, reflective diaries, observation, discussions, direct questioning, self-assessment, working in pairs or groups, working together to develop and challenge what you have learnt, finding out what you can do well and what you could do to improve.

You may want to continue to practice at home.

Tap or dance shoes if you have them - you may want to come first to get advice on shoes and just wear normal shoes.

Enrol on the main course.
At the beginning of the course, you will have an induction to the College and the course. Your tutor may ask you to complete an Individual Learning Plan (ILP) and agree your personal learning goals. This paperwork is a requirement of the College’s Quality Improvement Programme.
