What you will learn
The course will cover everyday topics, which are suitable for beginners. Students will develop speaking, listening, reading and writing skills as well as learn vocabulary so that they can deal with a variety of situations encountered whilst in a Spanish speaking country or receiving visitors who speak Spanish. Topics will include: personal information, introductions, greetings, nationalities, family, occupations, numbers, buying drinks, asking for directions.
How you will learn on this course
Through various activities including speaking, reading, writing, role-play, language games, group work, pair work, discussions, listening activities and internet resources from the BBC website.

At the beginning of the course, you will have an induction to the College and the course. Your tutor will ask you to complete an Individual Learning Plan (ILP) and agree your personal learning goals. All documents are a requirement of the Funding Agency. All students on courses funded by the ESFA must complete a Learning Agreement and ILP.
