As a result of the Richard Review (2012), the way that apprenticeships are organised and funded changed in April 2017. The Government has identified a critical need for new technical and professional skilled workers as there is a huge skill shortage across the UK. This has resulted in an enormous target to get 3 million apprenticeships started by 2020 and has involved mass changes to the apprenticeship system.

Traineeships are all about preparation - preparing young people and school leavers for the world of work. We provide intensive pre-employment training including employability skills, literacy, numeracy, digital skills and other key components to ensure these young people are ready to enter the workplace.
