As a result of the Richard Review (2012), the way that apprenticeships are organised and funded changed in April 2017. The Government has identified a critical need for new technical and professional skilled workers as there is a huge skill shortage across the UK. This has resulted in an enormous target to get 3 million apprenticeships started by 2020 and has involved mass changes to the apprenticeship system.
You can find the full information here or read our comprehensive summary below.

We can do everything from advertising the vacancy on our web site to running recruitment days and everything in between! It is up to you how involved you would like us to be. Typically, we take a job description from you and develop it to the requirements of the Government site - Recruit an Apprentice. We can then help you sort through the applications, interview the candidates on the phone or face to face and even conduct assessments before we shortlist the candidates for you.
As long as you are planning to use us as your training provider, our recruitment service is completely free to you and the candidate. We will work together with you to understand your needs and recruit the ideal candidate for your role.
Traineeships are short periods of training and work experience designed for learners who are not yet ready to undertake an Apprenticeship or start work. The flexibility of Traineeships offers employers the opportunity to help build a pool of high-quality future recruits or apprentices for their sector and they are an ideal opportunity for young people, aged 16-24, who are motivated to get a job but lack the skills and experience that employers are looking for.
Traineeships are all about preparation - preparing young people and school leavers for the world of work. We provide intensive pre-employment training including employability skills, literacy, numeracy, digital skills and other key components to ensure these young people are ready to enter the workplace.
