An Apprenticeship could be the route for you!

As a provider of apprenticeships in London and Kent, Apprentices at LECB earn a wage in a job and work alongside experienced staff to gain job-specific skills. Off the job, you will receive training to acquire the knowledge to underpin practical work-base skills and in most cases , work towards nationally recognised qualification Apprenticeships normally take one to two years to complete depending on the level of Apprenticeship, your ability and the industry sector. LECB have a strong relationship with local employers, big and small, to ensure you have the best chance of finding the opportunity you need to succeed.

Higher and Degree Apprenticeships take longer.

At Learning Enterprise College Bexley we offer a range of Apprenticeship frameworks which are applicable to a wide range of industries. We work with the employer to create programmes which allow employees to quickly progress within their field on the job.

Do you qualify?

In order to undertake an Apprenticeship you will need to have a job with a contract of employment for at least 30 hours per week or have a firm offer of employment within your chosen occupational area. If you don’t have a job and are looking for vacancies log onto the National Apprenticeship Service website www.apprenticeships.org.uk and register your details or alternatively we may be able to support you in finding an Apprenticeship placement. Not quite ready?

Alternatively, why not consider a Traineeship - which are pre-Apprenticeship programmes designed to support you to develop skills, knowledge and experience that will enable you to take your first steps into employment. Traineeships combine work experience and pre-employability training to help you successfully find employment or an Apprenticeship
