Including some exercise and wellbeing into your everyday life is vital for preventing many diseases and health conditions. We have a variety of fitness, dance and mindfulness courses to suit everyone in the mornings, afternoons, twilight, evenings and Saturdays. There are tasters, workshops, short/long courses to suit all ages (currently 19-92!) and for all abilities.
It is never too early or too late to start learning how we can get help to prevent or delay disease and disorders by practising activities to relieve stress. Discover your individual creativity and experience various ways to exercise the memory, learn the benefits of eating well and the importance of sleep. Participate in gentle exercise to relax the body and mind, combined with varied activities whilst socialising with others.
Practising Yoga promotes health and wellbeing helping you to overcome and prevent many stresses, strains, aches and pains. Learn and develop postures, gentle flow, breathing techniques, relaxation and meditation.
Improve your mental wellbeing and awareness of the world around you. Observe thoughts and feelings within to become healthier, happier and better rested.
Learn to significantly reduce feelings of anxiousness, anger episodes and improve your self-esteem. Develop skills in how to be calm, resourceful and confident in times of conflict and imminent stress or where emotions escalate.
