This is a short course to make delicious edible Christmas treats for family and friends using easy methods. We will make butter shortbread (alternative florentines), peppermint/rose creams, creamy fudge, and gingerbread tree hangings. ​You will also be shown how to make a mini Christmas or Dundee cake, alternative chocolates and tree lollipops.

Healthy Cooking on a Budget

Learn to prepare and cook savoury and sweet dishes from scratch using inexpensive seasonal ingredients. Use herbs and spices to add interesting flavours to make everyday ingredients into exiting healthy meals. Learn basic cooking skills to develop the confidence to experiment and prepare appetising meals at home.

Ultimate Cooking for Vegans and Vegetarians

Prepare and cook dishes for breakfast, lunch and main meals all meat free and suitable for vegetarians, some for those following a vegan diet. Use foods interestingly flavoured with herbs and spices to make nutritious and exiting family meals.

Vegan and Meat Based Party Nibbles

This is a short course with Christmas festivities in mind. We will make cheese bites, vegetarian or saucy mini sausage rolls, mushroom or chicken liver pate and mini stilton and parsnip or smoked salmon and chive tartlets. Items can be made with gluten free flour and dairy free fat/cheese. All baking freezes well.
 In addition a range of dips (sweet and savoury), fried items and kebabs will be shown and can be tasted.
