It is never too early or too late to experience methods to relieve the results of stressors through mindful breathing and gentle exercise to stretch and relax the body and mind. The combination of exercise, mindful techniques and gaining knowledge of how we can prevent or at least delay the diseases and disorders associated with aging and the negative effects of stress can help us live a healthy, active life – for longer.

Pilates
Pilates is a form of exercise which concentrates on strengthening the body with an emphasis on core strength. This helps to improve general fitness and overall well-being. Similar to Yoga, Pilates concentrates on posture, balance and flexibility.
Pilates exercises are done on a mat using small equipment to support or challenge the muscles recruited in each exercise. Beginners are welcome as there are a variety of levels to decrease and increase challenge for everyone. |
