Health & Fitness

Including some exercise and wellbeing into your everyday life is vital for preventing many diseases and health conditions.  We have a variety of fitness, dance and mindfulness courses to suit everyone in the mornings, afternoons, twilight, evenings and Saturdays. There are tasters, workshops, short/long courses to suit all ages (currently 19-92!) and for all abilities.

Fitness & Wellnesss courses

Our health and wellbeing is so important to deal with the stresses and strains of everyday life and being generally fit for life. But it can be hard to find time to fit exercise and leisure activities into a busy work/life schedule.

  • We offer a range of high quality courses throughout the day and evening.
  • Both Ashtanga and Iyengar yoga.
  • A variety of exercise and dance classes from Cuban Salsa Zumba Fitness, Body Blitz Tone and Aerobics
  • Sesssions are 1 to 1.5 hours, throughout the week and weekend.
  • A range of levels from beginner onwards
  • Excellent differentiated learning so you feel comfortable whichever level you choose.

There are specific courses with the older learner in mind and those who have specialist needs that may prevent you from keeping up with mainstream exercise classes:

  • Move to the Music and Exercise
  • Pilates
  • Yoga
  • Modern Line Dancing

Come and join one of our courses and see what a difference it can make to your life in terms of energy levels, physical fitness and socially. You will meet new people and you can enjoy refreshments at our friendly cafe. We have students from 19 to 85 and everyone is welcome. 

Complementary Therapies

We offer a range of non-accredited Complementary Therapies including Aromatherapy & Massage, Indian Head Massage, Mindfulness Meditation and Emotional Intelligence.
