Learn local at the LECB
The next open day at the Learning and Enterprise College Bexley (LECB) is on Saturday 2 July 10am–2pm. Pop along and see what the College has to offer and enrol on one of its great courses.
The LECB has been offering adult education in Bexley for over 50 years. The College was found to be ‘good’ by Ofsted in 2020.
As the new curriculum is launched this month, now is the perfect time to check out your local College, see what is on offer and sign up for September to make sure you get your spot. Book your open day spot on our Eventbrite page https://LECBopenday.eventbrite.com
Some courses are free or subsidised, subject to eligibility.
Cabinet Member for Education, Cllr Richard Diment said:
“We are so fortunate to have the LECB here in our borough. There are a massive range of courses available, whether you are looking to start or change your career, improve your health, or brush up on an old skill. Come along to the open day and start your local learning.”
Courses Include -
SEND and M@KE
The College also offers an exciting curriculum to help students aged between 19 and 25 with learning difficulties, disabilities, and autism to develop their skills to become independent and flourish in life. There are also opportunities for some students to move into volunteering or supported employment.
The LECB’s m@ke: programme for learners with learning difficulties and disabilities combines learning with art, creativity and the development of social enterprise.
These courses are available to students who meet the eligibility criteria for this programme.
These are just an example of some of what the College has on offer - there is so much more.
