Study Programmes for learners with EHCPs

At LECB, Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) learners are also at the centre of everything we do, and our courses will promote and support our learner’s aspirations for the future.

Our Entry 1 to Entry 3 courses provide learners with a holistic, appropriately meaningful learning experience which supports their progression in preparation for independence, adulthood, and employment. To further support their education, our learners will have experienced SEND tutors and teaching assistants in their lessons to support their learning and wellbeing.

Our Level 1 Introduction to Vocational Studies is designed for learners who may be ready to progress quickly to further study, the world of work and adulthood The Level 1 NCFE Diploma in Occupational Studies offers the opportunity for learners to study units from different sectors relevant to the world of work.

Our SEND courses provide a full-time programme for 1 or 2 years accredited programme for learners aged 19–24 years old with complex needs, including functional skills Maths and English. These courses also promote and develop skills for community living and engagement in the world around them in preparation for work and adulthood.
M@KE is a programme that provides students with opportunities in arts and crafts, business catering and food, performing arts and retail.
