Success Stories

Ayse Sisik
Adults with SEND

When I left Shooters Hill, I came to LECB to do supported learning, and I wanted to do wild painting, but nothing worked out last year. However this year I moved to mainstream where I can do English with Bobby. I get along with Alisha, who is my 1-1 support, and she can be helpful and caring. Natalie can be quite funny, she can make me laugh a lot. I enjoy doing English with Bobby because I do little learning, and sometimes it can be very boring as well. I've been doing art therapy with Ros for 1 year, and I like doing art therapy because it can help with my anger and frustration. I enjoy collaborating in art therapy. I am doing really well in college, and I do like college.

Bilyana Kaneva
ESOL

I was very happy in my English class. I can speak with the people now and my life has become better. I believe I am better person also the teacher are very good.

Deborah Muirhead
Zumba

Having tried other classes elsewhere, the college provides a class that caters to my needs. The college provides a tutor who conducts a class better designed for her pupils, taking into account the ages of those participating. Who encourages and pushes us to stretch that little bit further whilst explaining and educating the benefits to our bodies and how to look after them. I am learning how to dance in a safe way. It is a fun class for anyone who enjoys exercising with other people and is very inclusive, it is good for metal health and the class offers a warm welcome to new members. The college offers a class that differs from classes offered at leisure centres and gyms etc.

Alina Yefimenko
English

I am a Ukrainian who came to England on a refugee visa, my sponsoring family found this college for me. I really like studying in college, My favorite teacher is Rasirini. She is kind, attentive and very professional! I am grateful for this opportunity, learning the language, it is very in my situation.

Faiza Ali
Child Care

Thank you for giving me this opportunity to share with you my learning story.

I am a single mum I had started learning at this college for nearly three years, it’s was the best thing I have done in my life after being a mother.

And still I fill I am at the start because I have a lot to build up my education, I believe as much as I am doing I will achieve just I have to keep doing.

At last I hope to achieve more and more and I will be happy to share with you with saying thank you to be a part of my story and supporting me with this kind words.
