​We offer a range of courses that will help you gain the knowledge and skills to enter employment. You will benefit from expert tutors who have industry experience and will help you progress from Entry Level to Level 3 qualifications. We also work in partnership with Canterbury Christ Church University to deliver the Foundation Degree in Childhood Studies, with an option to gain a degree. 

​We also offer a wide range of online qualifications which can be accessed from the comfort of your own home. These courses run throughout the year, and the length varies depending on the type of qualification you are working towards.

​Vocational Studies Courses

​Adult Health and Social Care
There is much demand for well-trained health and social care professionals. The College offers a range of courses from Level 1 to Level 3 to help you take the first steps into working in a health and social care role. There are also a range of 'awareness' courses which are suitable for people in many different areas of work. Many of our courses are online which means you can study at your own pace and fit your learning around your work or family commitments.
​Business and Administration 
​Our courses can help you gain the skills required for employment or for continuing professional development. From short introductory courses to industry recognised qualifications there are many options to help you up-skill, get into work and support your career goals. Some courses are online which means you can study at your own pace and fit your learning around your work or family commitments. 
​Childcare and Education Settings 
Our childcare and school support qualifications give you the knowledge and skills to make a real difference in a learning environment. Perhaps you would like to work as a teaching assistant or in a learning support role in a school or college. You may be supporting groups of learners or individuals with special educational needs or disabilities in education settings.  

Childcare roles include nursery staff and childminders. We can help you gain new skills and knowledge that will support you in a childcare role. There are also a range of 'awareness' courses which are suitable for people in many different areas of work. Many of our courses are online which means you can study at your own pace and fit your learning around your work or family commitments. 

Our Teacher Training courses aim to develop the knowledge, skills and understanding of teaching in the lifelong learning sector which includes those who teach in Further Education Colleges (FE), Adult and Community Learning (ACL), 14-19 units in Schools/Academies and those who deliver education and training in public services and training organisations.
​Counselling 
​We offer CPCAB (Counselling & Psychotherapy Central Awarding Body) accredited counselling courses from Level 2 to Level 4. Our teaching team has a wide range of experience in counselling roles and will guide you to develop the skills needed to be a registered practitioner. Our courses are also beneficial to people working in industries that support mental wellbeing by developing active listening skills and support techniques. 
​Financial Industries 
​Our accountancy courses offer industry-recognised qualifications from Level 1 to Level 3. Learn bookkeeping and accounting practices to support your own business or enter the workforce in one of many roles within the financial industry. 
​First Aid 
​Our courses will lead to a recognised qualification and will provide you with the knowledge and skills required to provide effective emergency first aid. We offer regular courses throughout the year, including First Aid at Work (3-day) and requalification (2 day), Paediatric First Aid and Emergency First Aid at Work. We can also offer specialise training in the use of Epi-pens and defibrillators. 
​Horticulture 
​Many people have rediscovered the joy of creating beautiful and productive outdoor spaces. Our Level 2 courses are accredited by the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) and are ideal for those looking to pursue a career in horticulture or stretch and challenge skills for personal interest.  The practical and theory courses are also suitable for those already working in the industry looking to gain a professional qualification. 
​Retail and Commercial Industries 
​We offer courses to help you gain skills to support a range of industries. Whether you want to gain skills in customer service, team leading or food safety, we have courses to suit you. There are also a range of 'awareness' courses which are suitable for people in many different areas of work. Many of our courses are online which means you can study at your own pace and fit your learning around your work or family commitments.
